Public Consultation – A Strategy for the Rented Sector
Why are we launching a consultation?
The Government is committed to the development of a Rental Strategy, to be completed by the end of 2016. The strategy will provide a vision of the role that the rental sector will play in the short, medium and long terms, in the context of the Government’s objectives for the housing sector overall as set out in Rebuilding Ireland.
Work has started on the development of the Strategy, but this needs to be informed by the views and suggestions of a wide range of groups and individuals.
How to get involved
The Department is inviting any interested parties to make written submissions to help inform the development of the Strategy. Those making submissions may use the Consultation Guideline Document provided at the link below.
Submissions can be made in three ways;
- on-line through this link (now closed)
Please note submissions made on-line are being collated on our behalf by the Housing Agency. Those making submissions on-line can also submit any additional information or documentation, that they think may be useful.
- by email to rentalstrategy@housing.gov.ie
